Balticon!

I know I said I'd write up the blog post for this last week, sorry about that.  I totally dropped the ball there.  But the important bit is that I'm here now!

First I want to give props to everybody that was kind enough to show up:

Viv and Chooch of the Into the Blender and CoH podcasts
Scott who works behind the scenes at Junkie Mae's Chop Shop
Brent of The Underdevelopment Podcast
Marc and Heather from Grailwolf's Geek Life
And Greg (Anthropohedron)... Greg, If you've got a webpage I'm unaware of let me know.

Please forgive me if I'm forgetting anyone... that weekend was kind of a blurr

Now, what's say we see some pictures?

As I said, there was a lot of spirited conversation... I have no idea what Scott is talking about here, but it requires that he flail his arms about wildly!  Brent looks like he might be edging away slowly.

Viv and Grailpup sleeping in the stroler in the background there.
Viv having... soda I think.

Chooch seems to be letting into the flight end of fight or flight.  The food had everybody on edge.
Chooch

Actually, aside from The Horror there on top the sausages, the rest actually looks pretty good.  If you've not listened to the audio yet, The Horror is a bacon soaked bagel from under the bacon in the steam tray.
That's The Horror, right there on top.

Honestly, hasbrowns should not be kept in a steam tray.
mmm... leftovers.

Everybody just kind of picked at the food.  It really wasn't that great.
Doesn't it look tasty?

Ok, Scott looks waaaay to happy considering what he's about to put in his mouth.  That's a big old bite of The Horror right there.  Greg there on the left, well he's had a bite...  you'll notice he's not having more.
He looks happy now...

And the after... "It tastes like grease."
Oh, THE HORROR!

I so wish I had not missed this breakfast. Unfortunately, between packing and a panel that morning, I couldn't make it. You guys look like you had so much fun, bacon soaked bagel and all!
