I must admit, as I sit here watching food network, a big part of my inspiration for producing this blog and podcast has to be Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.  I know that this podcast isn't likely to be as awesome as Triple D, but with any luck, I won't be as annoying as Guy Fieri.  If I fail you in that respect, let me know....


Unless my computer explodes or my fingers fall off the first episode drops on Saturday!  After breakfast that is, of course.

Get the idea?  "NOM" or noming is the act of eating as well as the sound made and the food itself.  It's just one of those ridiculous internet memes involving amusing or adorable animals eating and I've decided to bend it to my will.

So I ate breakfast out the last couple of days.  On a whim I took a couple of pictures of my meals.  These pictures were posted to flicker, just because I could.  Within hours I'm being told I should make a podcast out of it....

.... so I did!  Huzzah!


Thus the birth of this, The Morning Nom.  I hope you enjoy it and whole heartedly encourage you to make suggestions, recommendations, comments etc.   Got a place in the Eugene, OR area I should try?  Fire away!
